  • Execute the following command line: ipconfig/flushdns

4. Reinstall Microsoft Edge

  • Locate Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe folder and remove it.

Reinstall Microsoft Edge


  • Proceed by clicking the Yes button on the confirmation window.
  • Keep patience and wait for the process to be implemented.
  • (If your system refuses to delete some items, click the Skip button.)
  • Once done, reboot your system & and let it completely boots before proceeding to the next step.
  • Open Windows PowerShell using the Search box on your desktop and right-click on it to Run as Administrator.
  • In the PowerShell window that appears, navigate to

Cd C:\\users:UserName

(Replace UserName with your User Name)

  • Now copy and paste the following command:
  • Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\\\\AppXManifest.xml” -Verbose}
  • Hit the Enter button and wait for the procedure to get completed.

Once done, restart your system and your Edge error INET_E_RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND should be gone from now.

Fixed: Edge inet_e_resource_not_found Error


Another way to bypass the INET_E_RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND edge error is to use a private browsing session. This might be a temporary fix but if you’re in a hurry to access a certain website, this should probably work for you. For this: Open Microsoft Edge > Head towards the three-dots icon at the top-right corner of your screen > click on the New InPrivate window option. Start browsing!
